We would love to learn more about you, your faith journey, and your interest in Lutheran Christianity & in Trinity Jefferson!
If you are transferring membership from another Lutheran congregation, all that is required for your membership to be approved is a letter of transfer to be sent from your previous congregation.
If you are transferring from a non-Lutheran church, you will be asked to join by Affirmation of Baptism (preferably at Sunday worship, if possible), after talking with the pastor about Lutheran practice & teachings, especially as found in the Small Catechism.
If you have not been baptized before, you are invited to join by receiving the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. Before receiving baptism, you would meet with the pastor for instruction, prayer, and discussion.
If you would like to maintain full membership with another church, you cannot join Trinity as a full member, but you are invited to join as an associate member.
